ntroducing a 20-30 minute Christmas musical for elementary-aged children that will delight audiences everywhere. The story is set in a classroom the first day back from Christmas vacation. The children share their Christmas experiences, and Billy tells of his encounter with Santa on Christmas Eve! No one believes Billy until the end of the musical when Santa makes an appearance and confirms Billy’s story!
The script is written for 16 characters, but more students can participate by reassigning parts. There are five pieces of music in the musical. The “Overture” is an instrumental piece that sets the tone of the musical. “Santa Got Stuck In My Chimney” is a duet between Billy and Sally with help from the choir. “This Man We Call Santa” is another duet between two elves. “The Spirit Of Christmas Time” is sung by Santa, who is joined by the children at the end. Finally, there is the “Bow Music” for the children to receive their acknowledgements.
